What does it cost a Hampton resident to get inside EchoPark Speedway this fall? For most of the dates between now and mid-November, it costs nothing. One Sunday it costs $58, and that buys ten timed runs behind the wheel of your own car.
The big crowds have already come and gone for 2026. NASCAR's Cup schedule held EchoPark's Autotrader 400 on February 22 and the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart on July 12, so both of the track's headline weekends are on last season's side of the calendar. The speedway's event calendar for the rest of fall reads differently. It lists track tours, motorcycle training, a truck show, and club autocross events. Next door, the county-owned airport hosts a food truck gathering.
Take the season in order and each event moves you a step closer to the track itself. You start as a visitor on a tour, then a spectator in the infield, and by mid-November you can be a driver.
| Date | Event | Location | To watch | To take part |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fri Oct 23, Mon Oct 26 | Track Tours | EchoPark Speedway | Not a spectator event | Ticketed, price varies by date |
| Fri Nov 6 to Sat Nov 7 | Stars, Stripes and White Lines truck show | EchoPark Speedway | Free | Truck registration through organizer |
| Sat Nov 7 | 3rd Annual Food Truck Fly-In | Atlanta Speedway Airport | Details below | Details below |
| Sun Nov 8 | Atlanta Region SCCA Champion of Champions | EchoPark Speedway | Free, waiver at gate | Qualified drivers only |
| Sun Nov 15 | Peachstate PCA Autocross 7 | EchoPark Speedway | Free, waiver required | $53 members, $58 non-members |
The track tours are the closest thing on the calendar to a standard visit, and they still go further into the facility than a race-day grandstand ticket. According to the speedway's track tours page, each tour includes laps on the 1.5-mile oval, Victory Lane, pit road, the infield and garage area, a suite visit, and photo stops along with track and NASCAR history.
The calendar shows two tour dates in the coming week: Friday, October 23, and Monday, October 26. Weekday time slots are 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. Tours depend on track availability, and for dates outside the posted ones the speedway asks visitors to call 770-707-7970. Book on the FEVO group page. Pricing changes by date, and tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged, so settle your plans before you buy.
The calendar also lists RevWise Motorcycle Riding Academy on Saturday, October 24, and Saturday, October 31, then every Saturday in November. Even on quiet weekends, part of the property is in use for something other than racing.
The first weekend of November is the busiest stretch of the fall, and almost all of it is open to the public at no charge.
The Stars, Stripes and White Lines truck show runs Friday, November 6, through Saturday, November 7, at EchoPark Speedway, 1500 Tara Place. Visit Henry County lists show-truck classes, a wash-and-show, patriotic trucks, open-class vehicles, vendors, and an auction. The organizer's site calls the show free, and its proceeds pay for wreath placement at Andersonville National Cemetery through Wreaths Across America. Raffle tickets are $10 each at the Wreaths Across America booth on either day.
On Friday night, according to the event info page, Creed Fisher and Mark Ware headline an infield concert. The organizer has not yet posted a start time or concert admission details, so check that page again before you plan your Friday evening around it.
On Saturday morning, the crowd can move a short way over to the 3rd Annual Food Truck Fly-In at Atlanta Speedway Airport, 474 Speedway Blvd. It runs November 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is organized by Henry County Government. The airport, which Henry County owns, moved the event to November 7 because of bad weather. The Fly-In has not published a full 2026 program yet. When the second annual Fly-In ran on June 15, 2024, the Henry Herald reported free admission, discovery flights, helicopter rides, and aircraft displays. That same year, Henry Reporter described the event as a gathering of pilots and aviation enthusiasts, with aircraft owners talking about their planes and airport-based organizations showing their work. That was the 2024 format, and organizers have not yet confirmed what the November 7 edition will include.
Put together, a Hampton household can spend Friday night and Saturday at a truck show and an airfield on Speedway Boulevard without buying a ticket to either.
The following Sunday, the speedway grounds become a cone course.
On Sunday, November 8, the Atlanta Region SCCA holds its Champion of Champions autocross at the speedway. Drivers can only enter if they took part in or qualified during the prior season, so this event is closed to newcomers behind the wheel. Watching is open. According to the event registration page, guests can come without preregistering or paying, and they sign a waiver at the gate. For someone thinking about entering an autocross later, a season-ending event full of qualified drivers gives a free look at how one runs.
On Sunday, November 15, the step from watching to driving is open to almost anyone. Peachstate Region PCA's Autocross 7 welcomes beginners, provides instructors and loaner helmets at no cost, and runs non-Porsche cars in their own NP class. The club's autocross page says autocross is open to any street-legal car and any driver over the age of 16 with a valid driver's license. Entry is "$53 Members and $58 Non-Members," and the fee covers ten runs.
According to the event listing, the day runs like this:
If you would rather watch, the same page says spectators can attend free after signing a waiver. The schedule doesn't list separate spectator hours, so the posted gate time is the best guide.
Set that $58 against the track's main events. In February and July, getting into EchoPark meant buying a seat at a NASCAR Cup race. In mid-November, the same amount of money gets a non-member ten runs in their own car, with an instructor provided.
The speedway calendar starts the day after this post goes out, and Hampton's off-track calendar overlaps it.
Downtown is also getting ready for its next phase. Hampton's Downtown Development Authority asked for bids to demolish and clear 24 and 26 East Main Street, which the city describes as work to make way for redevelopment in the Main Street Historic District. The bid listing shows the contract as pending award.
Between October 23 and November 15, the only events in this lineup that require a ticket or entry fee are the track tours and the Peachstate entry. The rest are free to attend. The Fly-In is the exception for now, since its 2026 admission hasn't been posted.
At Zotique International Realty, we think what living in a place is like day to day matters as much as the price of the house. In Hampton, that includes a speedway you can tour, watch, and in November drive on yourself.
